This email is to bring to your attention the announcement by the Malaysian Government on the implementation of Sales and Service Tax (SST) effective from 1st September 2018.
Due to the expanded scope of the Taxable Services to include Telecommunication, IT as well as Management Services, most, if not all, services provided by Swisspac Resources Sdn Bhd to all local customers, will be subjected to 6% Service Tax.
It shall be reflected accordingly in your billing from September onwards. However, kindly informed that the 6% Service Tax will not be imposed on non-Malaysian customer / company.
